  • My son has been attending church here on a regular basis. I have visited with him on several occasions. I have always felt welcomed and accepted. The parishioners were friendly to me and I felt the sermons were biblically based and accepting of all people, meeting them where they are at. My family met with both pastors after the service and they listened to matters that were close to our hearts. We appreciated their interest in my son's life. I look forward to attending again.

  • Love this place. Great worship and sermons every Sunday. Saturday night service is really handy.

Where do I begin?! When I first started to go. I had to make the effort to talk to the senior pastor and other leaders because it's a "movement" church, starting of a mega church and it was too big to actually get one on one greetings from their effort. A lot of people. The coffee was good, strong. The sermons for a little weird at times. A lot of opinions on what they thought the verse was about ((they used a lot of quotes to back up what they said not with scripture but with actual quotes from theologians)) the senior pastors were off putting. Very hard to converse with them because "it's a large church" so they would always tell me. THEN I found out they use a "tool" called the Enneagram which is a personality test that they give to people in HLI ((which is a money racket program)) students and young leaders so they know who they are and I looked further into it and its an occult new age tool that the Catholics started using awhile back. I asked the senior pastor about it and he defended it. I was put into a leadership class right away and found out that I couldn't go further in my leadership at the vineyard because I was dating a non Christian and I was living with him ((senior pastor told me to dump him when I told him about my boyfriend)) so I was turned off a lot by their legalistic views saying they couldn't advance me further because of the senior pastors rules. :|

So I was fed spiritually there and the same time I felt like a black sheep. No matter how hard I tried to make friendly conversation with the pastors, I was cut of from the topic within 3 minutes and they had to do something else. ((Even when is wasn't that busy)) really felt like they didn't appreciate me or even cared to actually HEAR what I had to say.

Other things happened but there is so much that ill get to the worst part. The last time I attended the senior pastor was asked a Question by me and it was a simple question "if you serve without love in your heart, wouldn't it be for not?" I've never expected what was going to happen. He yelled at me. Shooting down anything I said and I stood there confused by his temper! He told me he won't answer any of my open ended vague questions. I asked if he was mad because I was so shocked. I've always asked him questions but he didn't like this one I guess. He basically told me at the end that I didn't know what I was talking about

I left crying!!! Honestly full sobs. A lady chased after me and tried to defend his actions and finally she said some other things about how his behavior was okay because we aren't perfect.

He made a conscious decision to be rude and awful to me.

I've never thought I would experience that in church. Ever. I'm so sad because the people who attend are sweet. I got a Facebook message from the senior pastor a half hour later. Apologizing. Very impersonal.

I have many more things to say about this church but these were the main things I had experienced more than once there and I attended for a year and a half!!

And to this day I still only got two messages from a young pastor who was the sweetest man asking if I'm okay and how I was doing. So thank you Clint for being you.
