  From our very first contact with Matt Johnsrud, the owner of Affordable Cremation, my family and I were treated with respect, caring and compassion. My daughter passed away in August in Minneapolis, and Matt himself went down to bring her back home to us. He updated us constantly to let us know what was going on ~ when he was getting her, when she had arrived safely, and he let us know that he would work around OUR schedule ~ that as soon as we could get up there he would make sure to be there so we could be reunited with our precious Angie one last time. Matt was very sensitive to our needs, answering all of our questions with honesty but in the kindest most gentle way possible under the circumstances. He let me stay with my daughter for as long as I needed and wanted. My final goodbye to my baby, the most difficult and heartbreaking thing I have ever had to do, could not have been made any easier and I will be grateful to Matt forever for making such a horrible situation the best that it could possibly be.

  Exceedingly exceptional service! Matt attended to every detail with knowledge, care and compassion when my mom passed. She looked beautiful in her casket, proving that Matt maintains a high standard of excellence in his profession. I don't hesitate to recommend Matt Johnsrud and Affordable Cremation and Burial.
